As undergraduate students, we are really fortunate that Dr. Travis is letting us do research in the EEG Lab, which most graduates would love to have a chance to do.

People who participate will be required to fill out a waiver and a survey. We will apply the EEG Cap on their head and monitor their brainwaves while they sit quietly with their eyes closed for about 10 minutes, and another 10 minutes while doing TM.

The whole process will take about an hour. And the participant will want to wash their hair afterward because we do apply gel so that the sensors will process information correctly.

We are trying to get about 25 or more students to participate in this study. After class is when we will need students to participate. We have a sign up sheet at the EEG lab where people can come and select which day is best for them.

After we collect all the data, we will write up a report of our findings and send it into Medical Journals to be peer reviewed. Any one who participates in this study will be notified of our findings.

One hour of your time could help students publish their EEG Experiment

Our research is starting November 1st 2010

We are really excited by this opportunity please help us be REAL Scientists!
